Eddie Jackson is so dope!

As both a Bama and Chi-Bears fan I am really thrilled with Eddie's development.

Bears fans are starting to compare him to Mike Brown, the safety who played on those Urlacher early 2000's Bears defense. Take it from me, that is a huge compliment because Mike Brown was a darn good safety in his day.

When they drafted him in the 4th round I told a buddy of mine (a Bears fan), “You just got a steal. He’s a playmaker.”

That's an understatement. First round talent.

I agree. I think Eddie had the best ball skills on any defensive player of the Saban era. He just had a knack for finding running lanes. Heck, he even assisted other players in scoring NOTs (see Minkah pick six vs arky). I think he’s late first/early second in he stays healthy. Fourth round is grand larceny.

I had the same thought. I was also pleasantly surprise when the Bears took a player from Alabama, seeing as the last player they drafted from Bama was Mark Anderson (2006), who was a pretty solid for a short time.

I thought at the very least, he would be a starting caliber S for half-decade or so, which would be a solid hit. To see him this good, so quickly, shocked me.

I watched that pick 6. Jackson made it look easy.
Even running the last couple of steps into the endzone backwards.
Showboating, but it's money in his pockets and it is not counter to NFL rules.

John Fox compared him to HOF'er Rod Woodson. High praise and Eddie may join Woodson in the HOF one day if he keeps this up!

Mike Brown is good but he's looking like Ed Reed right now. His knack for being near the ball and cashing it in for a turnover is amazing.

Shouldn't have been a 4th rounder. He'd have a second ring and a fringe first/second round slot if he didn't get injured in 2016.

This graphic indicates that the record for interceptions for a touchdown return in a single season is 4, shared by a few. Eddie already should at thr top of that list (new reord holder) and halfway to the top of the list of most pick 6'S in an entire career. Plus he still has 6 more games to add to his season total. Dope, Mc'dope. The Bear's rush deserves some of the credit and Fuller (with 5 int's) insures they can't just throw away from Alexander.

According to a post on Reddit there were 15 wide receivers drafted before EJ. He has more career TD’s than 7 of them. I would link but the language in the thread would get my wrist slapped and the post deleted.

He’s not at the top of the list because he has 5 pick-six’s over the last two seasons.

He has five TDs, but 2 are fumble recoveries. Only 3 of his NFL TDs are on Ints.
