Good Article. That is the first article I have read in eight years that didn't have something to say about our probation or coaching changes.

George Will has always been a favorite, it is good to see him writing about the Coach and Bama football and football in general. He rarely varies from political commentary.

I never tire

of reading about Coach Bryant. The political swirl he lived in during the 60's
seemed to make him more determined to see Alabama be respected.

and those uninformed yankees who like to think that predjudice is a problem unique to the south:

"Alabama's enrollment actually increased during the depression as jewish students, excluded from prestigious northeastern schools by quotas, headed south."

Interesting how nothern schools are so proud of their quota systems today...George Will is always great at pointing out hypocrisy. RTR.
