Have you all seen the excerpts from Elton John's interview for Parade magazine where he says:

"I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems," John told the Sunday supplement. "On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving. I don't know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East -- you're as good as dead."

OMG! Because Jesus forgave people he's a homosexual? And, what would Elton John know about being a gay woman in the Middle East?

Rationalization for justification....blasphemy.....at its best.

Now you have to remember he has a very open mind because all lefty's do, and because of his openmindedness he can see that Jesus has to be just like him. Alan Colmes believes Jesus is a liberal because of his sympathy and giving, but the only problem with that is, liberals are only sympathic or giving if the government is the one doing it.

There's a huge difference between MJ and EJ. MJ was a pedophile, and was definitely wasting good oxygen. EJ is openly gay, but at least he keeps his lifestyle within the realm of adults. I have no problem with him or his religious views.
Now if you can show that EJ is a member of an organization such as NAMBLA, I'll be happy to change my mind. Otherwise, who cares??

Elton is just a faithless man, no more, no less. His vision is just a little distorted. He seems to be a good guy from all I've heard. He's passionate, and would make a great Christian if he would accept what Jesus actually did for him.

EJ is different. He says all of us are bisexual to some extent. EJ has been married to 2 women and I guess at least 2 men. He has incredible musical talent and IMO has given us many memorable songs. He always appeared rather girly and effiminate in those portraits of him on the wall in the Southern Baptist church I attended when I was growing up.

They should know since the SoBap Church had a portrait artist in the field back in King Herod's day. They also were scrounging around to make sure that everybody didn't actually drink wine, but drank the water off the top of the wine barrel.
