Is it my imagination or has the SEC been snubbed this year? I can’t remember a single time GAMEDAY has been at an SEC matchup. Am I wrong?

Yep - Snubbed on purpose.

Re: Espn gameday snub

They were at Alabama vs. FSU, does that count?

I have made an effort not to watch Gameday this year, and I really don't miss it. Too long, and just fallen off what they used to do well.

Re: Espn gameday snub

Good riddance, the show has gone to heck. Do not need them, Bama will pack stadium and get plenty of TV viewers no matter what ESPN Gameday does. It has run its course in my book. Show is not any good anymore. I personally get tired of hearing opinions of totally biased group of morons. I prefer to listen to anaylst that knows football and sticks to facts, not bias opinion. They are getting real hard to find these days.

If the barn beats gawga I’m willing to bet they will be at the Iron Bowl.

Which SEC game do you think they should've come to? The SEC has been UGA and Alabama beat down on all the other teams. Really no good games this year between ranked teams. I guess they could've come to UGA vs AU this week but this is the first time in a long time that Miami and Notre Dame have both been ranked when they play. Really have no issue with them choosing catholics vs convicts over the UGA vs AU game..

Re: Espn gameday snub

Tuscaloosa, and especially campus, is much easier to navigate, and therefore enjoy, on game day when Gameday stays away. Personally, I'm happy they didn't bring it to T-town this year.

Re: Espn gameday snub

I really only like Kirk Herbstreit on GameDay. It is too long and too early for me. Plus, I'm only really interested in Alabama football.

I don't care if some commuter school team has a player with some rare disease or some player, not on Bama's team, visits sick kids. There's too much maudlin stuff for me.

Re: Espn gameday snub

Gameday knows that they suck now and are too long. They are trying to get the crowd that just likes entertainment instead of college football. ESPN has the SEC network for football fans.

Re: Espn gameday snub

have you seen the SEC lately? Only two teams worth talking about is Georgia and Alabama.
Beside, ESPN is not what it used to be... So whatever.

Re: Espn gameday snub

Like others on here I really have hardly paid attention to it this season and I think I'm more intelligent for it.
Don't care for the talking heads on there and so on.
Also, the SEC as a whole is down and most teams just aren't real good.

Re: Espn gameday snub

The ESPN talking heads were saying how the SEC was down this year and the Big 10/12 were the new kings of the hill. So, how do they explain #1 and #2 in the standings are SEC teams. Must be a mistake.

As to Gameday. Haven't watched it in a few years as I prefer to watch English Premier League in general and Manchester City in particular. Hummmmm watching a bunch of anti-SEC pro Big 10/ND talking heads v. watching amazing flowing and entertaining football (soccer to ya'll) with City averaging over 3 goals per game this season. Not difficult to understand why I don't watch Gameday anymore.

Heck.....it's well worth watching as long as Coach Corso is on!

Just my opinion but when the SECCG is played......guess where CGD will be?

Yup......
