I'd have to say beating Miami in the Sugar for the National Title is tops on my list..followed closely by the goal line stand against Penn State in 78.

Anybody else??

Bama vs Tenn this year at BDS. The first game I was able to go see. Amazing atmosphere, can't wait to get back again, maybe vs Auburn.

92 Sugar Bowl. Seeing Teague run that Miami receiver down and steal that ball from him was totally amazing. Pure Joy.

1986 Penn State Game at Bryant Denny. I was 12 and my dad took me to see Bama, I think we were 2nd in the polls and PSU was 6th. It was my first Bama game- and we lost 23-3.

The gameday experience for me was awesome, a kid from rural South Alabama walking around campus, buying scalped tickets for $25 a piece from some really fine Penn State fans, and just being in the Stadium and taking it all in.

To this day, Penn State is a 2nd favorite team of mine due to the kindness and fun shown by those fans. They would tell me to keep my chin up, helped me and my dad know who and what to look for from them (we were right in the middle of blue and white.) And offered hospitality if we ever got to Happy Valley.

That was the nicest loss I ever suffered.

That was the day that my blood turned bright Crimson, and its been a passion ever sense!!

Just goes to show my limited Alabama experience and the former state of Alabama football, but my two best Alabama memories are when Matt Caddell caught the game-winning TD against Arkansas and watching ESPNNEWS when Coach Saban officially got hired out here on the West Coast.

1. Meeting my future wife at the Nebraska game at Legion Field in 78.
2. Watching the goal line stand from the ozone seats in the Superdome (Hey! I was a student!)
3. Watching 'Bama shut up the smart mouth Baylor fans at the 81 Cotton Bowl. (On the way in, lots of grief about how bad the Tide would lose. They were real quiet as we left... 30-2 will do that).:)
4. Watching the only (?) Alumni-Varsity A-Day game in the 80s. Cornelius Bennett got to tackle UA President Joab Thomas on the first play.
5. In 2005, seeing my first game in BDS since '84. Could hardly recognize the place.

The 92 Sugar Bowl, everything about it. I was actualy sitting there before kickoff joking with some friends that we would win ny three touchdowns, never really thought we would win by that much but was talking crap with them and sure enough history was made that day.

Seeing Teague run that Miami receiver down and steal that ball from him was totally amazing.

Prothro's catch on the back of the Southern Miss receiver.

Shaun Alexander's run in OT against Florida in '99.

I could go on and on but these three are MY fav.

I've never seen a good win in the stands sadly enough. While a student at UA Bama never beat anyone worthy of note.

I did learn "Yea, Alabama" during the UTEP game at Legion Field several years ago, we scored so much by the end of the game I had it down pat.

I think the best memories for me have yet to be made. Winning the 2008 Iron Bowl, winning an SEC title, winning a national title (probably more than one actually). Those haven't happened, but I'm certain the last two will.

New Years Day 1962, the old Sugar Bowl stadium on the Tulane campus, Bama vs. Arkansas for all the marbles. Two great teams and two pretty fair country coaches. Ironically, Bryant and Broyles were hired within days of each other, both coming on board in December of 1957. It was a terrific game...one of the best I think I've ever seen. The trip over and back from Mobile on the old Hummingbird a rolling party and worth the trip by itself.

Standing in line in Birmingham to get seats in the North end zone in the 60's, then going with my Mom and Dad to see Alabama play, those were special days for them and me. Saw some great teams and players. A very special memory was knowing my parents got to go to the 66' Sugar Bowl at Tulane stadium, They had a special train from Birmingham to New Orleans, The train station was almost next to the stadium and you stayed in sleeper cars, I think back on that and what a great time they had. This is the time of year that those and many more memories are remembered.
