Anyone think Texas may have had an emotional letdown from disappointment in regards to bowl opponent (much like we did, just nowhere near as bad) and as a result didn't win that game the way they should have/would have?
I don't think so. Their comments after the game made it clear that they felt like they were still playing for a split national championship. At a minimum, they wanted to cast serious doubt. I think that they had this to motivate them through practices and in this game.

I believe that OSU had a much better defense than they have seen all year. In other words, OSU was their problem...

Best of both worlds - Big 12 offenses proven to be very over-rated (again), but Big 10 team loses (again)...:biggrin::biggrin:

I didn't watch the game, but read the recap and was as ecstatic as you are about the final. It proves 2 things: 1) Ohio St/Big 10 is not nearly up to par with other teams in the country. 2) The Big 12 is not the year of the quarterback, but instead, the year of no defenses.

It sure looks that way. If UF rips through the OU defense, it'll be confirmed.
