Last chance to test your greatness at predicting greatness .

Re: Final NSD poll .

I don't think we have a need for Dareus, but if he comes I'll take him. But Im thinking he's going somewhere else. I just don't think we'll play him @ either DT or DE. And Auburn would take his bro too. But I do think we have a good shot at him, but Im not putting him on my list.

I think we finish with one of the greatest days on NSD history. Julio, TJ, Jerrell... maybe Ingram. Would love to have Quinn, but not gonna happen.

But do you know how sick our class would be with Julio, Jerrell, TJ? You'd be hard pressed to find a better class in the last 10 years.

We'd have racked up at every position with some top players, all but RB. It's great to have a superstar RB, but you can find a good RB to plug in if you've got things like the O line playing well. And I do believe we have 3 talented RBs in this class already. But if we don't have anybody really step up this year, I'd love to have a 5 star running back join next year's class.

But if Jordan proves he is a talented RB, as well with Ingram, Alabama would then have two "potential superstar" RBs. Toss in a STAR studded WR class....and there won't be a defense that can stop Alabama. Not even Florida would be able to hang with Bama.

Oh you're right, with RBs you never know who can be an absolute superstar. I think Matchett has a chance to be a superstar RB. Im just saying I think we we got some sure things @ all other positions though. I don't think we made a huge splash in the RB department, but I also think that's the last position you need to worry about doing that as an unknown guy can be a star RB with the heart and the toughness.

Just saying we didn't get the top 5 or so back, which all usually seem to be definite studs when they play

Re: Final NSD poll .

I think we finish up with Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, Jerrell Harris and TJ Bryant.

Julio, Ingram, Harris....if there's no Ingram, then we'll pick up one of the RB's that visited this past weekend, which to me, were new recruits.

Well I clearly remember the day a couple years back when Tebow chose Florida, much to FInebaum's & all the others great delight (all the more to drag Alabama thru the mud about) ...and as I heard it on the car radio live, I felt like I'd been kicked in the stomach...I knew we needed the kid; I knew how hard Mike Shula had worked for him for us & how long he'd worked at it too - just made me sick.

Goes to show that you truly never know what these kids will do or how they think...all this to say that I have a HARD HARD time being optimistic - and don't get me wrong - If Julio chooses Alabama - I will be in the middle of my street Roll-Tiding with the best of 'em, but till I hear that from his mouth - I'm a doubter...

Here's to crossed fingers, eyes, feet, toes, etc etc etc...

We were Tebows Oklahoma when comparing him to Julio, if anything that makes me feel better that the home state kid will stay home. There's certainly a chance, but I think he'll make the right decision.

Just guessing Julio, Harris & possibly Bryant and one of the following 4:

R. Johnson
Justin Rogers
Michael Abernathy
Jacoby Thomas

just going to throw it out there but incase anyone has realized... alabama has as of right now 5 of the top 10 recruits... WITH the possibility of gaining 2 more... wow... turning of the tide??? gonna have to go w/a YES!!!!
:BigA::BigA::BigA::BigA:RTR:BigA::BigA::BigA::BigA:

I really don't think we will or should sign any other RB if its not Ingram. We've already got one of the top RB classes as of now, and we have a numbers crunch that can effect next years numbers. Signing project players at a position we don't need is unlikely
