Terrible news, my grandfather battled it and it was not pretty. Prayers for him and his family.

I had several friends/parishioners with this and yes, it is not pretty. A few years ago my right hand started shaking...especially when I was under pressure or excited. Doctors concluded it was benign/familial tremor, not Parkinsons, though there are no firm tests. This sort of tremor runs in my mother's family. I was pretty scared for a few months until we were able to sort it out. Sad for anyone who gets this debilitating disease.

I know we were pretty hard on him while he was at Georgia, but his accomplishments are on par with Kirby, who was supposed to be the Savior of the program.

I always liked CMR. I liked how he carried himself with his Christian faith while he was in the spotlight. Now, he's going to lean on that in the fight of his life.

Danggggg I hate too hear that, I always liked & respected him as a HC, I always thought he was one of the good guys in college football & a pretty dadgum good HC..

He was a really good HC & always had well coached teams..Until he played us or he always got burned on a freak plays against The Barn it seemed like..

As hard as we were on him I don’t think of us thought he was some sort of scumbag or anything. I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him personally. And most stories I have heard pointed to him being a good guy. I actually think most of our ire came from sanctimonious Georgia fans that would prop him up as a saint as a way to rationalize his flaws as a coach. I really did feel bad for him after the 2012 sec title game cause it was such a great game and it was a shame someone had to lose. I really hope he beats this thing.

Mark is a good man, but sometimes bad things happen to good people. I couldn't believe it when I read the report yesterday. I know he has always wanted to do some missionary work, might be a good time to start.

How did y'all like him as a OC.. I always thought he would was a fairly good OC, but, I always thought his play calling was pretty conservative & predictable..
