Francis Scott Key bridge collapse (Baltimore)

The Navy released sonar images Tuesday morning of the Dali, the cargo ship that slammed into the bridge, resting on the bottom of the Patapsco River.

The last time I saw that ship it had part of the bridge resting on it, but it looked seaworthy and was riding high in the water.
And now it has sunk? what happened?

The weight of the bridge has it pinned to the sea floor
They're unloading containers, but that's not the solution in itself. It won't be seaworthy without steering. That would have to be fixed first. It might be maneuvered with tugs if the containers are offloaded first. Tug Tide could probably answer that for us. At any rate, the bridge is going to have to be removed from the bow first...

Apparently it wasn't seaworthy when it left the dock.

The body of a fifth person killed in the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse was recovered Wednesday.

The Key Bridge Unified Command recovered the body of 49-year-old Miguel Luna, of Glen Burnie, from inside a red truck found by salvage teams, the unified command said in a news release late Wednesday night.

The bodies of five of six victims have now been recovered. José Mynor López, a father of four who was originally from Guatemala and lived in Dundalk, is still missing.

"The complexities of this next phase of operations require thorough preparation, strategic planning, and specialized expertise," said Capt. David O’Connell, Federal On-Scene Coordinator, Key Bridge Unified Command. "We have the right team making this work happen in the safest and most efficient way possible.”
