Benson probably made the biggest impact IIRC. He looked like a capable receiver, but for some reason he couldn't make an impact last year.

Commentators said he is probably their most talented WR. If so it means he was not used probably last year OR that FSU has low-grade WR talent.

At one point he was 12 of 14 for around 90 yards and his passes avg. -0.1 YPA in the Air

Watched after my son’s football game this morning. GT has come a long way. Thought they looked good.

My six year old scored his first TD today. Took an inside handoff about 20 yards. He was fired up!

I thought it was kind of funny when the ESPN sideline reporter was interviewing Norvell just before the start of the fourth quarter. I can’t recall the exact phrasing of her question but basically it was around “what his defense could do to slow down the GA Tech runnjng game?” Norvell pretty much a bunch non specific mumbo jumbo, then immediately switched to talking about their “offensive execution“.

I’m scratching head going “huh? The only conclusion I could come to was Norvell really has not a clue what his team was doing defensively.

I’m not sure that any of our WRs were used to the fullest of their abilities last year.

It was mostly Burton and Bond last year.

A couple of things concerning Tech that stuck out to me. I thought their o-line played really well and really physical. Also, while Haynes King played well, I thought there were times on the zone read where there a lot of yards to be had by giving to player on the jet sweep. The FSU LB’s were struggling to get inside/out on the edge and the corners were just plain bad in run support.

On defense, I thought as a team they tackled well, particularly the LB #44. When he tackled, the player dropped like sack of potatoes.
