I was hoping it would get blocked and returned for a Tech TD. That would have been a perfect end of half for this game.

My daughter is a soph at ND so I have a weird hate/love feeling about them over the last 2 years and she's in their marching band so gets to go to playoff games (like she did last year). SO, for her sake while she's a student, I want them to win and her get to experience all the things so long as it doesn't negatively impact us in any way. What they did to Syracuse today was impressive, even if Syracuse is bad.

HOWEVER, I told her today that ND could play the 3 academies, the merchant marine academy, and 3 prison teams and lose to USC and Boise and they would be ranked in the top 10, ahead of us because their losses wouldn't be "as bad" as ours per the committee. In a Bama-ND matchup, she will play their fight song but secretly be pulling for Bama
