I can only imagine 2 scenarios atm:

1) GT took Pitt for dead and wasn’t fully focused in practice this week, thinking about UGA.

2) Brent Key is mailing it in because he will be coaching elsewhere next season.

So 2 B1G teams ranked in the top 10 have gone through the rankings like diarrhea and are now unranked....tough conference

I didn’t realize until right now that Pitt still has a chance to win the ACC.

Earlier in the season they looked just awful in a four game stretch losing twice and almost losing to FSU.

It’s a terrible conference.

But yet Dan Lanning was taking shots at the SEC for playing cupcakes this week. I hate the Big 10! They have good teams in the top of their conference but nowhere else.

Yeah think he forgot they’ve played a joke of a schedule that included Montana state. Sankey and the SEC are a bunch of idiots for letting the BIG punk them into playing a tougher 9 game schedule every season. Trusting the playoff committee to actually put the best teams in the playoffs is the only bigger joke than the BIG touting their “9 conference games”. They could play 14 conference games and have 2-3 undefeated with blowout wins every season including some combination of Ohio state, Michigan, Oregon

Oregon could get beat by Wash too.

IU losing to Purdue would be a Massive upset.

I think IU will face Oregon again in the B1G CG and Oregon wins the rematch.

And ultimately that wouldn’t change much this year or next because as soon as a team like Indiana with a high school schedule is undefeated then they’ll be #1-3 and favored to win it all. The only thing that matters to this committee is being undefeated or 1 loss. SOS does not matter and they proved that with Notre Dame
