Re: Georgia vs. Alabama-Who has the edge ? (article)

It's going to be a heck of a game. Georgia's going to be playing for revenge for last years heartbreaking loss, and a spot in the playoff.
They're going to fight like a wounded dog (pun intended).

If we get through the first quarter emotions and play a solid game, I believe we win by 20+, and keep the streak going.

So if I counted correctly the analysis shows it's 6-2-2 in Bama's favor. Seems like a clear win for Bama unless we turn the ball over 3-4 times.

Georgia is #23 in Sack given up
#102 in Sacks

Alabama #9 in Sack given up
Alabama #5 in Sacks.

So, Bama OL has an edge over Georgia, and Bama DL so I'm not sure why Georgia has an edge in that.

Defense wise, Only edge Georgia should have is Secondary. They haven't allowed lot of deep passes... but then again they haven't faced real good deep ball threat team this season.

Wow...that's impressive.

If accurate, it would seem if we just have or normal game we take care of business. No TOs, NOTs, Blocked Kicks/PATS, etc. and, according to position battles and coaching we are the best team.

The only good QB they faced was Drew Lock and Joe Burrow ripped them up.

Eh.... Sounds like they are one injury away from disaster on both side of ball.

Cleveland is only going to play in an emergency from what I've heard. He broke his leg against Mizzou.

Re: Georgia vs. Alabama-Who has the edge ? (article)

Their offensive line has been beaten up. Ben Cleveland, the massive guard, and Cade Mays the stud freshman, are both banged up.
I thought so. I think I read something where they said the OL is getting healthy again. I wasn’t sure. I know their starting LB may miss this game or be severely hampered because of injury.

Monty Rice, the LB, will be out for this game.

Hmmm.... I agree with 09. I don't know, also, if UGA has the better secondary. I'll go with it for now. Looking at what they said in the link though, how does UGA come close?
Baker may be slightly better than any individual we have, but it's arguable. However, the performance of the others pulls it up to a push, at the best for UGA. Also, as others have said, the OLs are definitely NOT a push, if Brown is back in good health...
