Good News Thread

If you watch his film, he is quick. They often used him as a pull blocker on the edge, which required great quickness. I am not concerned about his athleticism. I am more worried about the fact that he could not handle the Michigan defensive linemen. He needs to become stronger.

Yes, in watching video of UW's offense they frequently pull the center and another guard to the backside of a play if the QB decides to handoff rather than throwing to a bubble screen on the "play side". So I assume CKD wants athletic/mobile linemen.

Just like the Eagles used Kelcey. It's a beautiful thing to watch!

You need to stop thinking Kelce. He is a unicorn. Very few centers can do what he does. But, yes, it would be great to have someone that good playing center in this or any offense.

LOL..I'm not saying he's like Kelcey (I realize he's rare) but that he's played at a similar weight range, is super athletic and they use him to pull.

Still hoping for this guy...

I agree with this. CNS is the 🐐, but he is also human, and the IB was always just “the next game” to him and the majority of our players. Auburn flat out wants it more, and it has shown on the field.

Yet Saban was 12-5 vs. Auburn while at Alabama, a higher winning percentage (70%) than the series as a whole (57%).
