Trump promised that if a bipartisan bill was brought to him he would sign it. Said he would take the heat for any backlash. A bipartisan bill that would have gotten more than 60 votes WAS brought to him. That was the Trumphole meeting. He went back on his promise and the best hope for a bill that would pass failed then and there. This shutdown is the result of that meeting.

Hey guys, I'm just jousting for the fun of it. I lay the blame at both parties feet. They can't seem to do anything, Especially the senate. I don't care about DACA one way or the other. I actually don't care too much about the shutdown since I pay for my own stuff. There are measures in place to continue to fund military mission critical items. My only wish would be that congressional pay would be disrupted.
