Not surprised. I think Greg's future in football is in coaching or in a front office/administration somewhere, if he wants it.

Seeing how McElroy was battling knee and ankle issues and Sanchez has the bum shoulder, the Jets really had no choice. Can't go into the season with only 1 healthy QB, a rookie at that. Simms took advantage of his chance.

The Jet kept Matt Simms also at QB. He had a horrible career at Tenn. I think his injuries and not getting to play is what cause the cut.
