Guidance, prayers and responses please!

I'll give you a synopsis of my situation.

I'm in school now, partial scholly and the rest either by loans or parents. However, for the longest time I've wanted to join the Army. I have begun to pursue this. However, my father is angry about all of this.

Now, I know I'm an adult and can do as I please. The thing is, I'd like to make this as painless for my family as possible. If any of you have suggestions then I'd love to hear them. If not, prayer neverr hurts! Thanks.

No, they don't have ROTC, so that option ws not available. However, after a lot of prayer my heart tells me to go through with it. If everything goes smoothly I will be in the Army on Thursday. So, here's to my father only being upset for the short-term.

I appreciate your prayers. I feel this is great opportunity on more than one level. The way I see it, if I think I've made a mistake, then after I've served my time I can still go back to school.

I did it!

I decided to forego college for now and am now in the US Army. Thank you for all of your prayers.
