Has anyone ever heard the UAB fight song..

I know this may tick off someone you but---I was at our local 'culture center' and they have an football exhibit of the teams from Alabama. One song that they played was one that I kept humming because it was so good. It was a great song with a good tune.

Next to 'Yea Alabama' the UAB fight song is one of the best songs I have heard. and I don't even know the name or any of the words.

I created a team on NCAA 06 a few years back on the PS2, and one of the options was to pick the fight song. I listened to all of them and the one I picked happened to be the UAB song surprisingly enough. I like it, but it doesn't compare to UA's song

Why anyone would take offense to this is beyond me. A true college football fan ought to acknowledge good things in another program, be it Michigan's uniforms, the Notre Dame Victory March, UGa's stadium, or UAB's fight song (not sure the latter qualifies, but reasonable people can agree to disagree).

fight song was written by Dr. David Walters, Band Director Emeritus at JSU. Seems like the call their band the Sound of the Magic City - or something like that.
