Smith has always represented himself, his family, his community, his schools, his coaching, and his chosen sport extremely well. Lots of class. Was glad to see Mac and Najee enjoy a good year.

I love learning more about how special of a young man DeVonta is. So proud that he represents UA.

He did it the hard way. DS is a great receiver, BUT, he was in the shadow of Waddle. Once Waddle was injured/out, DS became the
'NEXT MAN UP'. DS took several games on his back and won the Heisman with his acrobatic catches, and ability to make men miss him, then he turned on his afterburner.
More often DS had Double Coverage, but he is a master at 'Escape and Evasion'.
I have to mention that all of DSs skills would have gone for naught, if not for Big Mac's pin point passes. Big Mac was robbed.
