My son and I was talking about this. What a difference CNS has made already. Our D showed it's inexperience tonight. But then we shouldn't face running backs like this the rest of the year, I hope. Very nice game. Wow!

We won't be facing RBs of that caliber for a loooong time IMHO. Those guys are fantastic. They are better than the duo allbarn had a few years back IMHO.

I agree and Williams and Brown were both picked in the top 5 in the draft

If we can stop beating ourselves we are pretty darn good. I was expecting DMac and Felix to run hard against our D. They are amazing backs but you can't say enough about our team's heart and determination. When JPW made some mistakes he just picked his head up and led us to victory. That is what defines leadership. He may not be the best passer but he IS a leader and I do believe coaching has much to do with that.

Arkansas is a good team. I was impressed with them all the way around except for a couple of bonehead plays (much like ours) I know it was painful for them to lose this one but no more so than our loss last year!! HAHAHA Take that hogs!:biggrin2: ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

McFadden will certainly go top 3 assuming he comes out after this year, and Jones is definitely a first rounder whenever he comes out as well. I just can't say how impressed I was with those guys. I knew they were very good coming in, but they still surprised me tonight. Big props to their OL as well, I hope to God it's the best we'll see the rest of the year (at least running wise, which I think it will be).

 

[THE BAMA IRISHMAN]

BAMA will learn to kill early and not allow anyone back in. My family was on edge but with the Caddell catch all that went away. My neighbors all went in after BAMA won. My Flag is still flying HIGH. It is great to be a TIDE Fan. The 2 minute drill was something BAMA hasn't seen in years. Congrats to D. McFadden and the Hogs. Darren McFadden is the best running back in the Nation. Thankful he will leave after his Junior year. He will win the Heisman this year.

All in all the barners and vol fans here were pulling hard for the HOGS. Well careful for what you wish for. Awbun goes to Arkansas, and Tutorsee will have to stop McFadden and Jones. Arkansas is not done this season by a long shot. Had DM not cramped up we could very well be on the losing end of a loss. I haven't seen a running back like him - ever. Not Bo Jackson or Hershel Walker. Darren McFadden is for real and BAMA was fortunate to win. Coach Saban is the master of motivation and it showed tonight.

This has to be one of my all time favorites. I was jumping for joy and just thanked god for Coach Saban. I know that a year ago this game would havent even been close. Coach you deserve a congrats as well as the team and the fans. This was one for the ages.
