Homesick

Come on down for a visit.
It can do wonders for the soul to go home and walk the old stomping grounds. Sounds like you could use some Southern hospitality and an Alabama football weekend.
Roll Tide!

I feel for you, being up in "Yankee" country, but at least you know you can depend on the good folks on Tide Fans to keep you up on Bama football. Hope you get to return home soon!

I been gone a while, living in Bloomington, Il. Get NO SEC coverage here. Just want to say Hi folks and ROLL TIDE!

You might try the internet, plenty of SEC stuff there.

I'm not sure where Bloomington is in Illinois. Is it far enough north that people talk funny up there? That's always hard for me to deal with.

Although I was born in Alabama, I was raised in Illinois, through no fault of my own of course. With the exception of the cold weather, the crowded cities, the cold weather, the lack of southern hospitality, the cold weather, the heavy traffic and cold weather, it's really not such a bad place. Did I mention the cold weather??

I'm having coffee black, grits-n-eggs soaked in hot sauce, buttermilk biscuits and sweet tea listening to the Saturday Previews.
Spare chair at the table plenty on the stove. Y'ALL COME!!!!!!

back before there was Dish or Directv I lived in San fran the land of who gives a rats rear about college football. I know your pain but at least you have espn.

Many of the replies here are HILARIOUS!

At least, as someone mentioned, the OP can get ESPN where he lives...

For me up here in Canada, it's either internet [Tide TV etc.] or praying that the Bama game is picked up by one of the channels on the enhanced sports cable tv package to which I subscribe in the fall [if it's not on CBS / ABC...]

God you nice folks are blessed to live where you do...
