Here's the situation:

I'm planning on going to the PSU game with a friend who uses a wheelchair due to a lifelong disability. I haven't been to a game in Tuscaloosa in a couple of years, and I was wondering about a few issues:

1. How would we go about converting a pair of regular tickets to tickets in the wheelchair accessible area on the PSU side? (She's a Penn State fan.) Will there be additional fees or hassle involved?

2. I don't know where the ticket office is anymore, so I need to know where to go in order to convert the tickets and how early I should run by the ticket office to avoid a lot of hassle. I live in Tuscaloosa now, so I could easily go by earlier in the week if that's a possibility.

3. I've never attended a Bama game with someone who was using a wheelchair before. Could any veterans give me some tips on how the make the experience as smooth as possible?

Thanks a lot for any help you can provide. I know just attending the game will mean a lot to her, and I want to make the experience as smooth as possible.

1. If you call the Ticket Office they will be happy to help you convert your ticket.

You are a good man and may God bless you

Just in case anyone else finds themselves in this situation, the answer is that disabled persons and those accompanying them should go to either gate 3 or gate 32a for first-come-first-served limited seating on the ramp. No need to convert tickets at the ticket office.

Thanks for the helpful replies.

You cannot convert regular tickets to handicap tickets through the ticket office. You have to include the request in your original ticket order.
Two hours before kickoff you can go to gate 32 and request handicap seating if it is available. It includes the person needing the handicapped seating and one person accompanying them. Obviously it is based on space available. I have never heard of a time when a person could not be accommodated in some way but specific location requests might be more challenging. If the seating is in an upper area of the stadium, you will able to ride an elevator or golf cart up a ramp.

Thanks so much. These are regular tix she won off ebay, so we'll need to go to the gate and request the special seating.
