Let her talk to my wife. I married a "casual fan" that rooted for the barners. After taking the family to a game this past year, she is hooked on the tailgating. She can't sit still very long at the game, so she is great for picking up beverages on the way back to the seats. The kids(2) take turns going running around with her, I get to watch the game at the top of my lungs!

First, conceive a child together. Then begin the process of indoctrinating the child into the Bama Fan way of life, and soon you will have "made" your wife a fan...that's what I've done, made my son a Bama fan, because my wife is a semi-Auburn fan (not sure how much of a fan she is, but she sure isn't going to give me the pleasure of being a Bama fan if she thinks it will make me happy).:cool2:

I grew up in Illinois (about 3 hrs. from St. Louis) and absolutely hated football. That all changed when I moved to Alabama and enrolled in school. Now, everyone that I come in contact with leaves thinking i'm the biggest Bama fan they have ever met. I would suggest taking her to a big game and let her soak up the atmosphere.

One Game at BDS should do the trick no lie, get there early tail gate a good bit, she'll feel the vibe. My wife is from California Big Oakland fan and a 49er Fan. She didn't even give COllege Ball a thought .. until one game and boom she's as big a fan as any now.
One trip to TTOWN will do it, my wife is an Ole Miss Grad, she now screams louder at them than I do.She even like to watch the Tide over Ole Miss. Last night watching the BBall game, she almost threw a shoe at the TV because of what was happening.
She loves TTown on Game Days and she hates ESPN, except for Reece Davis and Kirk Herbstreet.

I can only tell you what worked for me. Have a son.

Seriously, I hated football very much. I even decided on a college that didn't even have a team (Montevallo). I hated football up until my son decided to play when he was 7. I am proud to say that I am the typical football mom now. He's been playing for 3 years, and I live and breathe football. Heck, I want to go back to college and get it right this time; I want to go to UA.

My daughter didn't like it until she went to her first game... now she's hooked!

I love my Crimson and white!!!
