Question: How do you think Bama will fare next year?

I hope I'm wrong as I always do when I say anything less than "unbeaten national champions."

However, when looking ahead remember - nobody would have seen us losing to South Carolina OR Auburn in 2010, much less BOTH of them. LSU is always up in the air.

Michigan - LOSS - this is one of those situations where there's "more" incentive for Michigan. Hoke needs to stake out his rep as a coach and the Big Ten needs the win much more than the SEC. Plus, he's got eight months to get ready for it, and he can simply watch the BCSNCG and subtract Trent Richardson for his hunch. I HOPE I'm wrong - and nobody flame me, but I fear this might happen. There would only be TWO good things about it: 1) loss early; 2) motivator for rest of year.

Selma, I think we'll handle Michigan pretty easily. CNS has done pretty well so far in opening OOC games; I don't expect this to be any different. They might make a few big plays, but, with an entire off season to prepare, I look for Michigan to turn it over a couple of times and get beat something like 34-14.

1. Michigan - Win. CNS and Staff always seem to do well in preparing the team for big season openers such as this. Note past openers in Atlanta - Clemson / Va. Tech. Michigan and D.R. have not faced a defense like 'Bama's. Michigan is pretty much one dimensional with D.R.
2. W. Kentucky - Win.
3. @ Ark. I think with the win over Michigan and W. Kentucky, 'Bama's confidence is building going into Arkansas. First SEC opener. It's close, but 'Bama pulls it out winning in the trenches.
4. FIU - Win.
5. Ole Miss - Win.
6. @ Mizzou - Win. Welcome to the SEC.
7. @ Tenn - Win. Too much turmoil in Knoxville.
8. Miss. State - Win.
9. @ LSU - Loss. Close game as usual. I think that LSU finds a way to pull it out.
10. Texas A&M - Win. It's a dog fight. 'Bama still reeling from LSU. 'Bama pulls away in the 4th quarter.
11. West Carolina - Win.
12. Auburn - Win. 'Bama still shows who is tops in the state.

I think that even though with a loss to LSU, 'Bama goes back to the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. I am really excited to watch this team develop and play this year. Especially against Michigan. I live here in the Great Lake State, and there are so many Wolverine Fans that think that this is the year that Michigan gains control back of its so called college football power, and it begins with Alabama. In listening to the sports talk radio stations up here, there isn't a lot of respect for the SEC. Just excuses as to why the SEC has won so many championships. I also think that for 'Bama to have a great year - again - it has to keep A.J. healthy. I kow that I am probably in the minority when I write this, but I think there is a large gap in terms of talent between A.J and P. Sims.

Roll Tide from Michigan!!
