Indiana’s Moore wins suit vs NCAA re: his 3 years in jr college dont count against eligibility

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

A chance to make more money, party with college age girls longer, and still have all the bling-bling and new vehicles you want.
Sure but, those girls won't stay college age for the duration of some of these newfound eligibility periods.

I mean, it's one thing to be late for practice after allowing oneself to be distracted by a shapely co-ed.

But quite another to offer up "Sorry Coach, but my car broke down dropping my girlfriend off at the bingo hall..."

And now we have this in hoops:

My prediction: by next year, guys who go pro in football can come back to college without losing any eligibility. The precedent is set.

In economics we would call this a moral hazard.

I guess I just don’t get how some random judge can decide that a voluntary sports league can’t set its own rules for eligibility. The judiciary is well on its way to just writing college athletics rules from the bench all by themselves. Maybe they can tackle Targeting next.
