This guy is really full of himself. His recruiting practices at UT, especially against Bama where dubious at best. Bama recruiting has not skipped a beat since he left. UT offered a better opportunity to get out of town while the getting was good.

"I just wanted to make a job change. I was entitled to do that. But obviously, a lot of people didn't understand why. I understand them being frustrated or hurt. In the long run, I think they will appreciate the job I did there and the kids I signed there at Alabama, because I signed some damn good players there."
Some of those recruits include receiver Julio Jones and two incoming freshmen, tailback Trent Richardson and tackle D.J. Fluker.
"(Alabama) might not lose for two years with the players they got," Thompson said. "They've got phenomenal talent."
