Texas wins out.

Va Tech wins out.

Alabama/Georgia wins out.

UCLA wins out (beats USC at the end of the season.)

Who plays for the title? Wouldn't it be nice to have a playoff and settle this on the field?

If it plays out like that, I could see a split NC again. I could see the AP deciding not to crown the same winner as the BCS...
I'd think that the AP would vote Texas as #1 unless they lost the bowl game (likely against Va Tech). The SEC Champ and UCLA would have a gripe though.

The BCS is just not setup to handle more than two undefeated teams. Even if we went to a "+1" system, I bet there will come a year when we see 5 undefeated teams/

Agreed - I was factoring in a Texas loss in the BCS game...

Whats bad is you could have a 12-0 Va. tech and a 12-0 Bama or Ga. get left out of the rose. I think the ACC and the SEC are the 2 best conferences this year and neither might not get a team in the NC game.

First of all, assuming that happens, Bama will have beaten 3 top 5 teams...Florida, Georgia (assuming they're undefeated going into the SECCG) and whomever we'd play in a bowl game. Also, we would have beaten a top 10 team...LSU and 2 top 20 teams in Tennessee & Auburn. No other school would even come close to that...therefore we'd jump somebody because we'd already jump to 3 or so and then winning the bowl game would help our cause greatly in the computers! We're already above UGA in all but one computer poll.

If it intrests you that Bama woud be left out then the title is correct.

However, reality says it will be more agrivating than interesting.
