I don't know and won't pretend to know how the $$$ powers in LSU territory feel about what's happened to the Tigger's this year.
All I can say is they, [LSU], were ranked 14th & 13th in the Pre-Season Polls, which one could presume would be a 2 loss team at best...
Of course the Top 4 in those polls were OSU - TCU - Alabama - Baylor, of which only two of those are remaining, as of now!
So one can speculate all one wants, but they play the games on the field, Not in a conference room, or behind a keyboard!
Sometimes it's best to leave things as they are, for you never know for sure what awaits you on the other side!
Then again A&M might want him if Sumlin heads to USC??? Ummm...

Unless a guy named Nick Saban is wanting to replace Les, they had better be careful what they are wishing for. Like I have said before, If Saban wasn't at Bama Les would sitting on a pretty good resume right now.

LSU always has great skilled position players. They always have really good WR's it seems. But they can never really take advantage of them to their fullest potential. They need a Coach who can recruit and develop QBs. The QB position has hamstringed LSU for the past few years. Its been a below average position for them at best.

So I'm betting their next head coach will be one of these new uptempo type coaches who love to sling the ball around the yard. Just a guess.
