Like a 10 year old anxiously awaiting Christmas morning, I can feel it, smell it, and taste it (well maybe not taste it) in the air. College football is upon us in approximately 40+ hours (Thursday evening). Is it really that time or am I just dreaming it is. No more having to watch ESPN classic or ESPNU to see the old games and get anxious all over again.
So my thumb and hand doesn't get sore (from operating the remote all day Saturday), I started my pre-season thumb exercises about a week ago. That way I won't sprain or hurt my thumb hitting recall or entering channels all day Saturday. Oh well, I guess that's where the aspirin comes in handy. Between operating the remote control, to jumping up for drinks or the bathroom, you've got to be careful not to hurt yourself in the mad dash so you don't miss the play of the game. Many a thumb or hamstring has been hurt this way, so be careful fellow Tide fans.
From ESPN Gameday in the morning to Gameday late at night, it doesn't get any better than college football Saturdays in the fall. Just wish it would cool off some dad gummit!
I know I won't be able to sleep from now until after the first Bama victory Saturday, so here's to an exciting and successful Crimson Tide and college football season.
Is it Time Yet????
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?????????????? :biga:
