And this was never brought up until this weekend..... very, very strange.

Yeah I remember when Oregon was a player for KA awhile back and the thought then was that he didn't want to move that far away. Suddenly a trip to Cal changes that? I sure would have loved to see KA in crimson but it sounds like more and more that he doesn't even know what he wants. If there is going to be this much drama we may be better off without him. That being said this will sting for awhile. Until I remember we just won a national title less than a month ago!

An analyst for The Sporting News on Finebaum just said that Keenan's family was going to move wherever he and brother were going to sign. He thinks he's heade to Cal FWIW

Besides Gabe King another Greensboro friend who commited to Oregon looks like he might switch to Cal now. Remember KA, GK, and C McCain all visited Cal this summer together.

The more I hear, the less it breaks my heart that he is going elsewhere. But he is a talent, no doubt about that.

Yeah, admittedly the drama is starting to get old. I will definitely be glad when NSD is over. Thankfully his announcement is at 8am so we won't have to sit around long that day to find out where he is going. And I thought this NSD was gonna be relatively quiet!

On another note, I've been following the Cal thread on all of this. You should give it a read, its extremely funny (and not the stupid, make fun of Bama kind of funny). Wow this information stings a little. Sorry I ever doubted you BET. You are on the money again.

To say that the last two weeks with this kid and family has been confusing is an overstatement. For it to be a Clemson/Bama battle to all the sudden Cal is the leader is suspect. Looks like they were looking for anywhere other than Bama. Oh well. Good luck Keenan.

Keenan is elite, but those guys are gonna be exceptional athletes.

Yup, Rivals now has Bama, Clemson, and Cal.

That is correct BOL is now listing Keenan Allen as uncommitted in his profile. He is not a commit to Alabama and he is no longer included in the Bama commit list.

I am closing this thread due to length and the changing situation now that Allen has decommitted from Alabama.
