ITAT Meltdown

What only a few of them realize is that this team is basically Auburn in 2010 save Cam and N. Farley on defense. I've never seen a team that was so good with two players and so bad without them.

Except it's not. In all fairness AU lost a lot of seniors from last years team. They also lost all of their best juniors. This is why everyone was predicting them to lose 6 games this year.

My job requires me to go to auburn sometimes. I was there last Thursday and they were very confident about the Clemson game. I'll be there again on Tuesday. I won't say a word but they'll know I'm a Bama fan. I expect S College St to be lined with black ribbons.

In my line of work, I visit the homes of my customers, some of which are barn fans. I can tell you for a fact that a number of them actually expected to lose against Clemson. Of course the phrase "we are a very young team" is always present as a ready-made excuse.

I just commented to my wife that, for the first time I can remember, their pathetic defense has pushed all the threads about Bama off their first page... :D

We're going to see our new grandson this afternoon. His mom (our daughter) and dad are, unfortunately, auburn fans. I love him dearly, but he is one of those who thinks auburn has done nothing wrong and that all the talk is just a conspiracy to try to bring auburn down. He and I do NOT talk football. At all. (Our other son-in-law who played at auburn is much more realistic and we have had several good conversations.) When we go, I'm pretty sure I'll have on a Bama T-shirt. :)

"If I were playing Auburn I would take a knee on 1st and 2nd down every series. That's the surest way to make sure you keep getting first downs."

That and a quiet smile is probably enough...lol

From ITAT...
"Paging Pat Dye & Wayne Hall to fix the leaking Roof":D

Keeping in mind the info revealed from the HBO Barn Pay4Play special and Terry Bowdens interview, is it safe to assume those bonus payouts for sacks & tackles have dried up? Lol...

I don't know what the barners are mooing about. AU should be 0-3 right now, instead of 2-1. I would consider those 2 wins a big positive stroke of luck if I were them. AU winning games is only going to get rougher and tougher for them the rest of the season. ;)

The last I heard of Pat Dye, he was in Tuscaloosa, watching Bama play and celebrating ole times. ;)

I'm not convinced anything will make them stop...
