The link doesn't work. However, I won't believe any source that comes from Kentucky after what they pulled with Donovan on Friday. They have shown that they are just as credible as some in the Bama media. Which is to say not credible at all.

The Louisville Courier-Journal and a Memphis television station are reporting that John Calipari, after last-minute attempts to keep him at Memphis, has decided to leave Memphis to become the next men's basketball coach at UK.

WREG-TV is reporting on its website that Calipari is currently at his home meeting with members of his staff explaining the decision.

The Courier-Journal said on its website Tuesday afternoon that Calipari called former UK coach Joe B. Hall to talk about the Kentucky job and the Kentucky tradition.

"That was awfully nice of him," said Hall, who coached UK to the 1978 NCAA title.

"Coach Cal is a hot item. He's a great coach as well as a superior recruiter. His track record speaks for itself. I think Kentucky was looking to do something dramatic in the face of all that has gone down."

This only references the same article from the Louisville Courier Journal. And Calipari talked with Joe B. Hall about the job, but he didn't say if he was going to take it. Check out this on al.com

When asked if Calipari said he was taking the UK job, Hall said "he did not have "definite" information on that."

And so the wait continues.

Their own information is being conflicted. Maybe Cal has taken the job...I don't know. But there still isn't any hard evidence out there. Just some "source" who talked with Joe Hall. Who either talked with Cal about the Kentucky job or possibly he called him to tell him that he accepted the job. We don't know.
