Rhule is understandably getting a lot of attention for this position, and he checks a lot of boxes - but something that may prove problematic is his own “big game” record which is pretty abysmal. He’s 0-11 against Top 10 teams, and 2-23 against the Top 25. His last Top 25 win was at Temple. He’s been a very good program builder at all of his college stops but it sounds like they’d be trading one James Franklin for another.
