That is the way I read it as well. If so, it seems that would open the door for a large lawsuit against the school by the family of the second victim.

I would go with the latter; seems like a large number of these teachers-that-I-wish-I-had are hawt.

This happened when I was in school but it wasn't a hawt female coach but a male coach messing with a female student in the gym dressing room. They got by with it very often. He was pretty much fired from the job he had before coming to my school for rumors of this but we hire him anyway. That was over thirtyseven years ago and still nothing come from those events. I guess guys can't keep it quite.
