A) I am so relieved that we are being proactive in this instead of reactive down the road.
B)At least Fulmers accusations were flashy...20,000 in cash, new cars for coaches, etc. I mean this is an accusation over a laptop? A six mile deep sea fishing trip? If this is an Aubie conspiracy, its not nearly as sexy as the Albert Means deal. Is this the best they have? True, their organizational skills are better now than they were when they hired Tony Franklin...but getting a kid in trouble for a laptop is about as potent as hiring a coach with an all time record of 5-19.
C)All indications are that these are small, isolated incidents. Certainly doesnt point to a culture of cheating.

The smart thing would have been to turn in the aubby booster for trying to give you an illegal gift.

It looks like Jerrell would have got off easier if he had gone down town, got drunk, and got in trouble.
I may be a Gadsden 'Homer' but it appears to me that Auburn could not get him to come to their school, so they are working hard to try to mess up his eligiblity.
Yeah, Auburn was said to have sent Investigator types (jerks) to Gadsden to try to get him in trouble. Talked to a bunch of folks trying to get someone to say that CNS violated recruiting rules. Didn't happen...
I suppose that a death in the NCAA ranks could allow this to drag on the whole season.
Yeah what he did was kind of dumb, and he should have fessed up, but he was influenced by what turns out to be an Auburn fan. (Not a BAMA FAN or booster, Not a season ticket holder, not a member of any BAMA club ect...)

There's no ruling at this time and if one takes a glance at the date on their calendar , it should suggest a probable scenario . That said , we'll tuck this thread away and make a fresh start as soon as any ruling goes public .
