Joe McKnight's coach may be hired as Director of Player Development per BamaMag mod

So you people are saying that the reason Saban is considering hiring J T Curtis is because he has a great prospect this year. I'll bet that will really make JT feel real good.

ahhh, i got a bit ahead of myself, but this kid could do special things if he were to come to bama, i mean he's going to be great wherever he goes, but i sure hope he comes to bama.

They didn't just meet eachother . CNS knows what he's doing and yes , some of the comments that have been posted could express a lttle less enthusiasm .

Right now some just can't help it because after all , Bama is back .

It was announced on espn radio in Monroe Louisiana today that John Curtis's coach had accepted a job at the University of Alabama, ya know they may be lying too but hmmm sounds good to me and this wasn't the national guys saying this it was the local Louisiana talk show update that said it, so I think they are a bit more credible than the others. I think JR is smart enough to know if you can go 1 or 2 you go. Ask Matt Lionheart about leaving a year later than you should have.

FWIW, although the Bamamag poster still indicates the hire as a possibility, he has eased off on the certainty that it will happen.

I also want to apologize for the title of this thread, implying the best thing about this hire was the recruit it might get us an "in" with. This was a product of my own ignorance -- I only recognized the name from looking at McKnight's profile. I have since educated myself, and realize that this hire, if it happens, would be great for the program far above and beyond who this legendary high school coach could help us recruit. I certainly meant no disrespect. :BigA:
