John Mark Stallings has passed away

Truly sad news indeed. I wouldn't wish the grief of losing a child on my worst enemy. Coach Stallings needs the prayers of the entire Crimson Nation right now so lets not let him down.

TUSCALOOSA | John Mark Stallings, son of former University of Alabama head football coach Gene Stallings, died Saturday morning, sources told The Tuscaloosa News.

Truly a sad day. As a parent of a Down Syndrome child, I know that love John Mark showed. When you have had the worst day, my child comes to me, wraps one arm around me and asks whats wrong. A person with Downs Syndrome AWAYS cares. I pray for the Stallings family as they are now without a huge part of their life.

Let's also remember that there are ways to help. The Buddywalks for Down Syndrome will be in September or October. If you haven't been to a Buddywalk, I highly suggest you do. Imagine a bunch of John Marks smiling and laughing all day. Donations are always accepted as well as your time.

If anyone needs anymore information, please feel free to ask.

The Stallings family lost a son today and Alabama lost a great fan. May the Lord smile upon them today in a time of mourning. God bless you John Mark.

My prayers are with the Stallings family. I too will also remember seeing him cheer his heart out at the 92 championship game. I know he will be cheering from heaven. GOD Bless.

I was watching this video just last night.
