JPW's midseason grade

Everything I said was factual.
No, little of what you said was factual, most of it was purely subjective.

If you need a link to an online dictionary, I can hook you up.

You do indeed sound like a bitter rival. If you knew more about the team and circumstances surrounding this season you'd likely change your thoughts on the matter. Then again, maybe not...

I would say that someone who criticizes JPW for a weak arm hasn't been watching Alabama for very long. I am one who believes that these deep balls are thrown that way by design. In the South Carolina game last season JPW threw a great ball 50 yards right in stride to Brown in the forth quarter. That pass looked entirely different than the ones he has been throwing this year.

Here is what I said:
"He has a weak arm, hasn't beat anyone he wasn't supposed to beat, too many interceptions(tipped balls or not), fumble that cost us the arkansas game(with a little help from the kicker), went nuts during the florida game at the end, overthrows receivers too often, has not made good decisions consistently. "

He in fact has seven interceptions I think, thats a lot. He in fact hasn't beat teams he wasn't supposed to beat, unless you count ole miss, I bet you do. He in fact fumbled the ball and arkansas scored that contributed to the loss, and he in fact lost composure late in the florida game by throwing terrible interceptions into double coverage which shows his lack of decision making prowess.

Maybe you should use your own dictionary Eienstein, what's subjective about that.

I disagree with every word of your post - but it will just have to stay that way...

Yep! Same here! I definitely smell a bitter rival in the so-called "Cat", but, hey, whatever! I will admit it's comical! It would be one thing if the posts had been based in fact, or if it were gripes that had been previously brought up, but some of the accusations the poster is making is indicative of someone who hasn't watched a complete 'Bama game all year! And now making personal attacks against NY BamaFan! Classy! What's next? Wanting to fight over NYBamaFan over the internet? Like I said, comical!

bamahuey1,
And to the rest of you whose only responses are: your an aubie, not a true bama fan, hasn't watched a game all year. Why don't you refute any of my points by facutal assertions, instead of merely stating your opinions and calling me names. Oh, its because you cannot.

uhh... when did I personally attack NYBamaFan? And isn't it funny that you deride me for making personal attacks, although I have not, but you start your rant by calling me names. Can't you people just think critically for two seconds?

Yellowstone is the only poster who made a valid point against my arguments, although he too had to preface it by saying anybody who doesn't agree with him hasn't watched alabama football for long. The rest of you just call names.

B/B-
Until we come up with the big wins I don't think he deserves an A.
His long balls scare the crap out of me, and some of the tip balls for interceptions were b/c of poor throws. That being said for being a sophomore and just starting games he is doing an outstanding job. I look forward to him developing into a fine :BigA: QB.

Look - we disagree. Is that not enough for you?

NYBamaFan,

I am not sure what you mean, I can agree to disagree. Why don't you say the same thing to your buddies who agree with you. And you have yet to refute any of my points, so I guess you just disagree on principle.

Yep, subjective.

hasn't beat anyone he wasn't supposed to beat,
Again, subjective.

too many interceptions(tipped balls or not),
Guess what? Subjective...

fumble that cost us the arkansas game(with a little help from the kicker),
Again, subjective.

went nuts during the florida game at the end, overthrows receivers too often, has not made good decisions consistently. "
All purely subjective.

He has five ints vs nine TDs. Those are generally considered good numbers, but you have to actually know the facts to have a valid opinion.

Maybe you should use your own dictionary Eienstein, what's subjective about that.
Indeed. The best part is you apparantly don't understand what the word 'subjective' means...

Thanks for the laugh. See ya.

PointClearTider,

Thanks for a rational discussion without name calling and blind crimson colored glasses. I mean some people on these forums just go nuts if you are critical of bama at all. Its very refreshing.

crimsonaudio,

I would debate your points but it is obvious you wouldn't understand or even comprehend the English language. Thanks for demonstrating your ignorance.

Wrong, He has 5 ints.Check your stats.

No, all you gave was your opinion. Calm down.

I gave my opinion which was supported by facts. Why don't you tell all the others who have attacked me for being an aubie to calm down. I have only responded to those who attack me in the same manner.

Right there. That's crossing the line.

So ends this thread...the rest is up to you.

You are new, take some time to fit in...just like you would if you were a guest in my house. In a way, you are...just so happens I'm not the only one who "runs this house."
