Talladega is about an hour from Jacksonville. Anniston is more like 20 minutes and 10x the size.

Yeah but those pretty much are the places around that area.

There's less to do in Jacksonville than Huntsville. There's plenty of opportunity for mischief here...

All the places I know/knew of have been developed or otherwise made "inaccessible". But man oh man......when I was in high school there was mischief o'plenty to be found..... Every generation just finds new opportunities!

Yes. I live in Sylacauga and I have been to Jacksonville too. I always felt that the best places in talladega County were Sylacauga and Childersburg, but then again I am a little biased to my home.

Yeah there is not too much to do, but alot folks hang out there at nightlooking for trouble, that was what I was implying.

Being from and having grown up in Talladega until college, I can tell you there's nothing to do but what you get yourself into...if you know what I mean.


But Anniston/Oxford? I have no idea. Way bigger. Talladega has NOTHING to do.

I'm a JSU grad. When I was there (1991-95) there were quite frequently Alabama players of that era who hailed from NE Alabama that CAME to J'ville to get in-slash-cause trouble.

RP would be the King of Calhoun County. There would be more trouble there for him than you could imagine.
