To paraphrase Jess, there are two types of corners: those that have been beaten, and those that will be beaten. Ease up on the guy,or walk on and take his scholly from him.
cool, man. if you think i was harsh, i'm thinking you didn't read my post. also, irrelevant to what i said, but getting beat on a play usually isn't a mental error. To paraphrase Jess, there are two types of corners: those that have been beaten, and those that will be beaten. Ease up on the guy,or walk on and take his scholly from him.
Theoretically your kicker is always the man of last resort, but instead of hanging back Cade runs up to make tackles, sometimes good, sometimes not so much. What I was getting at was the error on the kick return isnt exactly applicable to one player when the rest of the team failed to do their job as well, Not to mention that was the ugliest kick ive ever seen, it spiraled sideways and landed at the 15 or so.no, pretty sure he was the safety man on the coverage, and got sucked in, although, i haven't seen a replay. he didn't just get beat, he never should have been in a position to let somebody outrun him. it was a mental error, just like a blown coverage in the secondary would've been.
I think you're thinking of Dixon. I hope we pull him and Belue. Belue will be a HUGE pickup at least for returns not to mention being a good corner. Dixon would be in the mix right away as well as most to all of Saban's JUCO players have stepped in right away.It would also be nice to pick up the other JUCO cb, I can't recall his name but his size at 6'2 200 lbs was very impressive.
Dude what I've seen on replays if you think Fulton is to blame for that play then I don't know what to say. The view from the game replay was not the best, but it looked like Fulton was playing his lane and after Scott broke containment Fulton simply tried to catch him. Fulton's lane was on the other side of the hash marks from what I could tell and Scott was on the opposite side. Not sure how that is his fault and a "huge mental error":conf2:if he can stop making huge mental errors like the one he made saturday...
