I've been a Bama fan since I first started watching football with my Dad. I absolutely can't wait for football to start this year. Living in Florida, I'm really not privy to "insider" info but enjoy reading stuff about Bama online. RTR!

I have always enjoyed reading things as well. I have been reading and watching Bama Football since I was old enough to walk. I hope you enjoy it on here like I do. My grandpa got me into this and I love it. I just joined the site today but have been reading about it forever. Enjoy

LOL yeah. Like my disgusting sidewalk alum cousin who grew up wanting to go to The University but instead joined the Army after 9/11 and was shot in Afghanistan. He lived but never got the chance to go to Bama and is still a sidewalk alum. I hate those people.

Wait a minute!! Are you saying you hate sidewalk fans?? I hate the name of "sidewalk fan", but I, as well as a very big percentage of fans on this site aren't UA graduates, but are just as big a fan as any of the grads. I'm sure hoping I misread your post. If not, stand by for getting flamed.

Sidewalk fan is a pejorative. However, I use it to indicate that particular breed of fan who give MY university a bad name (ie. idiots who shoot each other over AU/UA disagreements, idiots who don't respect the TRADITIONS of the University, crazed fans who never took a class at Alabama but do stupid things like poisoning trees, etc). It is not used as a putdown against non-alumni with no other reason.
