I agree that he could have handled it better but I was making a point that I did not take it as trash talking as much as a response to having a teammate insulted.
I do disagree with you that it was a classless remark. If he was an adult I would agree with you but you know how a teenager will normally respond in a situation like that. I know that I did not always make the proper response when someone atagonized me when I was young.

Yeah, "Kenny Who?" was funny, but the field is where it matters. I don't want the barner's calling the Iron Bowl, the Irons' Bowl, because Bama was to busy talking off field to concentrate on beating the barn. KD is already fired up about the lack of respect for him as an SEC RB, and that translates to a better performance on the field. Let's not get the barner's Ken fired up too.

I'm not an advocate of trash talking another team or player in the media BEFORE a game, especially when your team has lost the last four meetings, and the last meeting was one of the most embarrassing beat downs in Iron Bowl history. Win the game first.

Yea, and then we can have all our wishy washy tide fans crying about how were acting like the barn. no one seemed to like it much when ears started the fear the thumb nor when cox taunted meco. i got an idea. how bout we just boycott all news publications til they all go out of business and then we can pretend all the players on all teams are mimes who say nothing at all and more especially nothing out of the way or slightly controversial. but if that happened we might loose alot of the "groaning" demographic of tide fans who cant be happy if theyre not looking down their nose at something going on in the program. jeez, i wish the season would get here that way we could all complain about the offensive line.

I would remind Wallace that Irons is the runningback who shredded us pretty good last year. This football team is doing an awful lot of talking for one that has lost 4 straight to Auburn. It turns my stomach to hear Alabama players talking like this. And Shula needs to do something about it.

What are you talking about? When were we talking trash leading up to the Iron Bowl last year? It's funny how many people get all riled up about comments made before the season even starts!!! Trash talking is something that every team does (albeit some more than others) is going to continue to do, and it's going to continue to have no bearing whatsoever on the outcome of the actual game! Get a grip people!

He was just having fun with the media........LET THEM HAVE SOME FUN, FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!!!!!! That was NOT trash talking!!!!!!! I know we all want to WIN, WIN, WIN but the game is also supposed to be fun.

I can't guarantee a victory but I feel certain we will not see anything like that first quarter, against the barn, again this year. The players feel like they can beat allbarn..............I am certainly glad of that!!!!
