I'm fairly new to the ticket buying world. We are looking to get tickets for the Kentucky game in October. I'm seeing them on Stub Hub for $129 and up. I'm sure other sites are similar. At this point, is a site like that the best bet for away tickets or are their other options? I've used Stub Hub before, so don't really need advice on that site, just want to make sure I'm not missing something. Also, anyone know are their particular sections likely to host a lot of Bama fans? Thanks for any help! RTR!

I just looked on Kentucky's web site and you can buy season tickets for $242 in the end zone and $277 for sideline seats.

Check out seatgeek.com. They pull from all of the major ticket sites including stubhub, ebay, ticketmaster, and many others. They also rate tickets based off of value so you can make sure you are getting a decent deal. I use their website and app pretty frequently.

I didn't look but if its a game in T town the local licensed ticket brokers they wear a badge are honest & a fair price. Go to the game you can get in.

Wait. The tickets get shipped in August. At that point supply will go through the roof relative to right now and folks on both sides will be looking to sell. I wouldn't pay much more than face for tickets to a game there... I've been to two Bama-Kentucky games in Lex and in both cases there were plenty of extra seats. That may have changed but I wouldn't pay more than 1.2 - 1.5 x face value. And that would be for good seats.

I've been to a couple of Bama/Kentucky games also and they don't fill their stadium. Wait until summer when Kentucky releases individual tickets on their site. You would be a fool to pay the price they are asking right now :)

Thanks all for the advice....good advice by the way! I was at a Bama/Ky. game at least 6-8 years ago but got tickets thru a friend from Ky. I live in NW Ohio so Lexington is our closest venue by far. I do recall the game was not a sell out, though Bama was not #1 and a power like now either. I'll look again as the summer goes on and keep an eye out. Thanks all!

That is exactly why I'm waiting to buy my tickets. I'm figuring there will be a better selection of what's available and a better price as well. It will be especially interesting to see how the tickets fluctuate if UK drops a few before facing us. They will probably have people bailing left and right if they have a bad opening to the season. I'm also going to be interested to see how well Bama is represented at the game. Our fans always travel well, but this game is as close as they come to us above the Mason Dixon Line. Should be an awesome time.

Was that back when Jared "The Battleship" Lorenzon was the starting quarterback? I vaguely remember that game if it's the one I'm thinking about. He was so funny to watch. You just don't think about having a quarterback that is bigger than half your offensive line.
