What do y'all think is the single biggest key to seeing your Tide win this weekend? There are obviously other choices, but I thought these were the biggest ones...So, out of these, what do you think?

Ok, you do realize that if either of those two things happen, you may be considered a suspect, right? LOL........ Actually how about a batch of bad sushi?.........that might be ok too.

Keys To The Crimson Tide winning:

We Must play mistake free ball on both sides of the ball.
We have to score touchdowns when we are in the Redzone.
JPW has to play well on the road.
KD has to to run for 100 yards or more 65 or more in the second half.
Our defense has to force turnovers.
Our D has to put pressure on Ainge.

Bad sushi smells, unless you run into some liver flukes. :) NY's probably right. We need a lot of luck this year. Having three NFL starters on defense back would probably have helped, too...

KD needs the yards, which would mean more time for JPW to throw and it would eat up the clock and keep the UT offense off the field.

Why is stopping the run not on the list. Not being able to stop the run has by far been our biggest weekness this year. If we get that corrected we'd be in business.

All of the above.

Since that's not an option, I picked Darby running for 100 + yards. Bama absolutely HAS to establish a running game to have a chance at winning. Our running game has been getting better, but we ain't played UT yet.

JPW's long passes are always sweet, but not always consistant. (Are anyones?) If we could set up a deep threat with our ability to move the ball down the field, we could force Fulmer into an almost prevent mindset and keep Cutcliff out of the game.

Right now, I feel that this will be an offensive battle for us, or at least had better be, because our defense will wear down just like with Florida.

Gotta go old school baby!!!:biggrin2:

Control the LOS!
Got to out hit 'em!
Win the kicking game!

I personally would like to see a better run defense.

on the offensive side, I'd like to see zero penalties inside the redzone.

I didn't get to watch the last week's game but the reports I've read indicates that our O-line have made a big stride. That's very encouraging.

I voted for pressuring Ainge because I think that scenario would create opportunities for our Defense, and a shorter field for our offense.

But I could easily go with Darby's 100+ rushing yds. That's incredibly crucial, that we run the ball on the Viles. JMO

Amen to that!

Gene Stallings 4 keys to winning football

1) Stop the run
2) Run the ball
3) Win the kicking game
4) Be positive in turnover margin

We beat Tennessee in 3 of these 4 categories,we likely win the game.

My thoughts too. I said control the line of scrimmage which is the same as being able to run and stop the run.

Football is really a simple game. Blocking and tackling..don't make mistakes, ball security, win the kicking game, etc.. So many people get all caught up in schemes and play calling and forget that FUNDEMENTALS are the key! :BigA:
