Just saw from Andrew Bone that Kyle Mann from Powder Springs, Ga. has committed as a walk on for 2020 (I believe). What do we know about him?
Same HS as two verbal commits.![]()
Anyone got a link for a profile. I've never heard of this kid before.

I am almost sure that he was not.Was Nick Gentry originally a walk on?
Remember him well!Anyone remember Sammy Gellerstedt (sp) early 70’s interior terrorâ€â€unbelievably quick for the era.
I remember the name; had legendary quickness. Believe he played in the late 60's and maybe not very much. I seem to recall he had difficulties, but my father used to rave about the potential he had.Anyone remember Sammy Gellerstedt (sp) early 70’s interior terrorâ€â€unbelievably quick for the era.

He finished at U of Tampa where he was a "Little College All American." I googled his name and he is on Facebook and evidently has done well in the medical supplies arena. Good for him!!!There was a picture I recall of Gellerstedt holding up two other Bama players. It was fake of course but fun. Unfortunately his career ended acrimoniously when, I believe, he sued CPB for referencing him in CPB's book where he mentioned an unnamed player as not having good hygiene and being on drugs. I believe Gellerstedt completed his career at another institution. 1968 - 1969 were the CPB's low point at Bama.
