Lame Kiffin to USC

Dad gummit, I was hoping to keep that UT staff in place for at least three years. Hope there is no more bad news for Bama like LSU showing Les Miles and Company the door.

USC obviously knows they're about to get the boom lowered on 'em and Lame-o is either: 1) too stupid to realize he's just being hired to be the whipping boy and placeholder to get 'em through probation, or 2) he just wants to get back to California, only cares about the money, and doesn't care one bit about winning or building a program...

I cannot imagine any other scenarios that would make USC want him in any way shape or form as a head coach.

Heck, they may be looking at an SMU-type "death penalty" where football at USC will pretty much be nonexistent.

Something's not right...

Vol board on Scout is in meltdown. If lame is still in the state, he better watch out. He may find himself in a "Deliverance" type situation.

I can't see someone with no college HC experience getting a first gig with UT ... oh wait.:rolleye2:

Seriously, I do not think we should worry about Kirby bolting for UT. I can seriously see them making a run for Leach, though.

With all the thugs at UT, it would do them some good to sit in timeout in a shed.

Smart move by USC: Lane Kiffin is their Mike Shula. He'll weather their probation and be fired once they emerge the other side. Afterward, having been fired or having quit his last three HC gigs, Kiffin will never get a fourth shot and will spend the remainder of his career as a minor offensive assistant in the NFL.

Ant TN recruits that we were looking at?
