Pardon my ignorance but who is Drew DeArmond and how does he know what he tweeted. Who's his connection or inside source?

He isn't the only one who thinks Kiffin could very well be gone. It's been reported or commented on by most outlets that cover college and pro football..

If Kiffin stays, it will be interesting to watch them on the field next season. In other words...if you thought Saban yelled at him some this past season, just wait 'til next year.

I just asked Drew on twitter, and looks like Mike Groh would be the one to consider if we lose LK.... I'm sure there's more to consider as well.

This thread is funny.... despite that all signs towards to 49ers is wanting Chud, or Shannon... and all.... Really, Just remember, if Kiffin leaves, every OC in the US will immediately call Saban and said " I want this job."

I thought the Colts refused to let Chud interview for the 49'ers job or any job for that matter? I listen to the NFL channel on XM/Sirius and that is what was discussed last week.

They did...but his contract ran/runs out, and thus they have no say in it.

Probably not popular here but IMHO, if he does't want to be in T Town.... let him go! The drama is ridicolus and I for one believe as long as CNS is at Bama, we are fine....

Yep, that's the one. I wasn't aware of that fact. I need to hang around on here with you more often so I can get more educated.

Going one forum down will explain a LOT on the recruiting front. Mack, Big Easy, and runtheoption gives great info plus a lot of regular posters do too. We have quite a few from this class already on campus.

LK just bought a house in Tuscaloosa to move his family here. Guys, he ain't going nowhere.
I think he and Coach Saban are just messing with the media to make them look like idiots when all is said and done. Truly do. Afterall, neither like the media very much.
Remember the Texas debacle? Everybody upset because Coach Saban didn't sign the new contract on his desk, immediately?
He kept saying he was just busy recruiting, and everybody went nuts.
This is the same scenario I truly believe.

Thank you for this sane post in the midst of the insanity coming mostly from the Twittersphere and AlabamaIntel. They more I see the latter referenced on the board the less confidence I have in the source.

The drama is probably only with us who have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. I have a feeling Saban/other staff and players/recruits know what is happening.
