Not sure if you're serious or not but it's kind of hard to determine that when they aren't physically challenged but about every four weeks. I'd love to see Alabama play one physically demanding game then have three consecutive weeks of physically inferior opponents. We'd look like a bull in a china shop as well...
I understand the argument, but they have some stud starters in my opinion. Some of the best skill players i have seen.

To be honest, my brother and I thought Boise looked like they may be slightly better than Miss St. as far as overall talent. Utah was so bad I don't understand how they got to be ranked so high. Poorest tackling I have seen since when we played North Texas last year. It was so bad we turned it off early in the 3rd.

BSU put a great show of fumble, INT, and Blocked field goal. Their play calling is interesting, and their QB is good. Other than that, I don't see them surviving the grinding of our beloved sec west. How did Utah end up ranking so high? I can see Uconn,UWV and Pitt whip them very easily if they were in Big East this year.

I had a BSU apologist tell me the other day about all the BSU "haters" making such a big deal of their one loss to Nevada. I told him when BSU stops making such a big deal about their wins against the teams on their schedule then people will stop making a big deal about their losses. Can't have it both ways...

OK...I had some respect for this guy before, but not after this...

"We had hoped it would end like this because Utah's a great team," Boise State coach Chris Petersen said. "If we couldn't get to a BCS game we wanted to play a team like Utah that's as good as any team out there."

Really, Petey? As good as any team out there? Is that why they got annihilated by TCU, and even beaten handily by Notre Dame???? Because they are as good as any team out there???
Please. I hope the smurfettes get ranked 25 pre-season next year, after a comment like that.

I'm telling you Peterson knows he is now right where he needs to be. Boise St has successfully brainwashed the rest of the country and convinced them that the teams they play on their schedule are respectable and are equivalent to teams on other BCS conference teams' schedule. So all he has to do is keep reinforcing the concept. I'm telling, the media and the people who have the "little man, David and Goliath" syndrome have made BSU into a mythological character. They are unbeatable, can leap tall buildings in a single bound, are the best team in the country, etc. And for the most part it has worked.
