Watched the Netflix doc on Mark Cavendish tonight "Never Enough".

Outstanding and makes you pull for the guy to beat EM's record even more.

Highly recommended......

I finished watching this last night. I hope he can break the record, but if he doesn't it was still amazing how he fought back. The video footage was awesome. When they crashed you could hear the bikes and bodies hit the road. Really gives you an idea of how much that hurts.

I haven't watched the Vuelta every day but enough to keep an overall track of how things are going.

Sepp is still ahead and the fav. to win!

Yesterday's stage (17) brought out a lot of public anger towards Jumbo Visma due to a couple of their riders attacking Sepp.

Today's stage (18) was much better with Sepp even gained a little space between him and JV in 2nd place.

For Sepp to win this race is a very big deal. Not only in the global cycling world but also in the USA.

Three stages to go..... 🙏 🚴‍♂️⚡

I felt bad for the breakaway guy today. He led for all but the last ten miles.

I’m getting a feeling that Vingegaard and Pogacar are just that much better than everyone else. It looks like it will be a battle between them the entire way. If one can’t shake the the other on some of the upcoming mountain stages looks like Pogacar wins.

Thank you to whoever updated the thread title.

The thread author has the ability to do this - so I did.

A moderator can also do it on any thread - but I'm not one of those here (yet). :)

And I agree with you Con on TP and JV.....will be interesting to see what happens on the mountain stages coming up.....

I had no idea you could change the thread title. I have never started a thread in all these years so I just assumed that the mods were the only ones who could change them. Learn something new everyday.

The mountain roads are so narrow. Are they for one way traffic or can you drive both ways? Today has been pretty good. The American Quinn set the pace all the way up the Col du Tormulet.
