Due to Marlon's family tree I can't put him in the same grouping. I think 99% of schools new where he was going and therefore his recruitment may not have been as big of a priority. Also Will Anderson Jr. and Marlon Humphrey.

That happened a lot during the Dubose years. It seemed that every year one of the freshmen would move into the rotation and outplay the older players. After a few years of that happening, it occurred to me that it wasn't because the freshmen were outstanding, but because the older players were not being developed.Simmons is pleasant surprise for the team this year. The fact the young kids are playing better than some of the returning players is crazy!

OK. I read online they were 3*. Maybe they moved up quickly.Jacobs was a three star. Anderson and Humphrey were both either four or five stars on the various services.
Fagia has provided some good snaps... He is very good, but will be ultimately limited by his smaller frame. Nice guy to have to provide depth though. There have been a couple of Freshman 3* DL that have played and played well in rotation. RF Faga and TF Simmons.
